Magdalene Hell has passed away at the age of almost 85. The former senior manager and widow of stud founder Maas J. Hell was connected to the Maas J. Hell stallion station and the Holsteiner horse all her life. Always friendly and cheerful, approachable and ready to talk, that was how one knew the rather petite lady who, especially over the past ten years, was happy to attend stallion presentations, foal championships, and sporting events and always looked forward to meeting so many old acquaintances.

Even after the sale of the Maas J. Hell stallion station to Herbert Ulonska in 2011, everything remained as it was for Magdalene Hell. She was able to continue living on the premises, visit the horses whenever she pleased, and watch the training, often several times a day. For the entire team, she was a "permanent fixture" of the station that she had built up together with her husband. Recently, her visits to the stable became less frequent, walking became more difficult, and her strength was waning. "It was always important to us that she feels comfortable and welcome, and I greatly appreciate the achievements of Mr and Mrs Maas and Magdalene Hell," says Herbert Ulonska. "My daughter Jasmin and I have always greatly appreciated her conversations and memories," the stud owner continued. "We are grateful to have had her by our side for so long."
