Last weekend saw the only German leg of the Global Champions Tour take place in Riesenbeck. The German U25 Show Jumping Championships were held at the same time. In the end, 24-year-old Britt Roth, riding her nine-year-old Holstein gelding Jeffrey by Comme il faut-Cachas (Philipp Freier, Landau), line 318D2, was delighted to claim the well-deserved title. After her victory, the new German U25 Champion said: “I can’t even put it into words – I’m shaking. I’m just incredibly happy that we had clear rounds in every round and that it was enough in the end. Building this success with Jeffrey over the years is truly something very special.” Just behind the medallists, Sören Suppert took fourth place with Can Tici by Cornet Obolensky-Canto (Timm Rohwedder, Eggstedt), line 7022.
In the Global Champions Tour Grand Prix at 1.60-metre level, Dennis Lynch (IRL) and Cordial by Casall-Chicago Z (Hans-Hermann Gempf, Stelle), line 325, secured fourth place after a jump-off. And in the Grand Prix of the Two-Star Tour (1.45 metres), Kellie Allen (IRL) and Extasy by Quadros-Clearway (Floris van Leuken, Netherlands), line 173, topped the podium.
