Dear Breeders,

in the course of the IT migration to vit (Vereinigte Informationssystem Tierhaltung w.V.), it occurred during the generation of the ownership certificates for Holsteiner foals of the 2024 and 2025 birth years that the stem numbers were not printed on the certificates.

Please note: The stem numbers are of course fully stored in the equine passports as well as in the electronic data relating to your horses and will be continued as usual. The absence of the stem number in the ownership certificates of these birth years therefore has no impact whatsoever on the continuation of valuable stem record-keeping. From the 2026 birth year onwards, the stem numbers will again be listed as usual on the ownership certificates.
