Holsteiner Verband Vermarktungs- und Auktions-GmbH is part of the Holsteiner Verband group of companies. The Holsteiner Verband is a long-established organisation with the highest standards. Numerous top international sport horses and leading sires have been discovered at the Holsteiner auctions. Each year, the company organises around ten auctions and places 150 Holsteiner horses and foals from Holsteiner breeders all over the world.

You will support the team in planning, executing and reviewing all business processes relating to the auctions. You will be the central point of contact for all organisational matters. The role offers plenty of variety within a motivated team.

Your responsibilities:

• Organising the running of auctions and events, including those abroad
• Providing expert support to existing and new national and international clients
• Helping to draw up the auction notices and terms and conditions
• Helping to produce the catalogues for our auctions
• Handling sales, including the import and export of horses sold abroad (EU and overseas)
• Drafting of contracts and invoicing
• Administrative management / facilities management

Your profile:

• You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship
• You have an interest in equestrian sports and Holsteiner horse breeding
• You have excellent organisational skills and have relevant training or professional experience in a comparable role
• You work independently and flexibly, and a high degree of reliability comes naturally to you
• You are confident using MS Office; creating mail merges and complex Excel spreadsheets is part of your daily routine
• You enjoy communicating with our Holsteiner breeders in a respectful and professional manner
• You find it easy to communicate with our business clients abroad, primarily in English
