Today marks the start of the Holsteiner Foal Month – featuring around 50 foals offered directly from the breeder, presented with detailed information, videos and pedigree performances.
Running until 9 October, this format supports Holsteiner breeders in the direct marketing of their offspring by leveraging the broad reach of the association's online presence. Complete with professional photo and video recordings, a profile including the price category and the exhibitor's contact details is available online for each offered foal at www.holsteiner.auction. The Holsteiner Fohlenmonat is not an auction: interactions and price negotiations take place exclusively between the exhibitors and prospective buyers. In the event of a successful sale, no further fees are charged to the parties. "It is a matter of great importance to us to provide our breeders with the best possible support beyond the auctions as well," emphasises Head of Sales Felix Flinzer.
The Holsteiner Foal Month is supported by the Holsteiner Verband Hengsthaltungs GmbH and the Maas J. Hell stallion station. They provide a financial contribution to those breeders who have registered offspring by a stallion from their portfolio.
