Most people had already suspected as much: the second Holsteiner Winterchance cannot take place on 28 November as a hybrid auction. For this reason, the sales platform will be held this year as an online-only auction – on 12 and 13 December 2020.
The approximately 60 horses in the lot, which will go online on 1 December at https://holsteiner.auction/de/home, will be auctioned in two groups. The first group on 12 December, the second on 13 December, both starting at 3 pm. Bidding will be open from 10 December. On the morning of their auction day, the horses will be showcased once more in a live presentation via ClipMyHorse, before the ‘Bid-On’ – the crucial phase of bidding – begins at 3.00 pm on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
For the second Holsteiner Winterchance, Roland Metz, in collaboration with his team, has put together a collection ranging from promising two-year-olds to broodmares and ridden sport horses.
