In the evening, Herbert-Blöcker-Platz was all about the youngest participants. Twenty-one foals from the current crop were put up for auction. Catalogue number 9, Rosalie by Crack-Casall (Achaz von Buchwald, Hamburg), emerged as the top seller. This daughter of the internationally successful Canada I.Z. (Clarissa Hassmann Crotta/SUI) was sold for 16,500 euros. Two further foals were valued at 10,000 euros or more by buyers. One of these was catalogue number 4, C’est la Vie by Charaktervoll-Barcley (Heiko Clausen, Nieblum/Föhr) from the famous Cassini line 3389 (10,500 euros). The other was catalogue number 3, Rhapsodie by Casall-Clearway (Jan-Kuhrt Stegemann, Eesch), which went for a round 10,000 euros. The average price of the foals sold was 8,166 euros. On Sunday, the programme now includes the Association Mare Show and the State Championships for five- and six-year-old show jumpers. The action kicks off at 9.00 am.
