Holsteiner Verband Spring Auction and Appraisal – young talents in the ...

This week, the equestrian calendar features an event at the Holsteiner Verband in Elmshorn: on 17 April, the traditional spring auction, followed by the licensing inspection, will take place at the Verband’s premises. Breeders, riders and horse enthusiasts from Germany and abroad can look forward to a top-class selection of young talent as well as interesting licensing candidates.

The focus of the event is on just under 30 carefully selected young horses, which impress with their modern performance genetics and sporting potential. The auction candidates come from proven Holstein mare lines and combine top international sires and promising young stallions with high-performing dam lines. Horses suitable for high-level amateur sport also enrich the collection. In addition, a finely selected lot of three-year-old show jumpers, who are still at the very beginning of their training, will be offered – these have now also arrived in Elmshorn and can be viewed by arrangement with the auction team. Among them, for example, is catalogue number 5, Raima by Keaton-Million Dollar. Her sire, Keaton, won the Grand Prix in Ehlersdorf last weekend with Arne van Heel. Raima is closely related to the 1.50-metre show jumper Haquinsa by Sandro Boy (Mark Bluman) and represents a highly promising prospect for a successful future in the sport.

On 17 April, the collection will be presented live at 12.30 pm in the Fritz-Thiedmann-Halle and streamed on Clipmyhorse.tv. Afterwards, there will be a final opportunity to try out the horses before the auction opens at 6.30 pm. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Felix Flinzer (+49 162 3493942), Alexandra Bitter (+49 170 3825465) or Sigrun Günther (+49 163 2469320). Spectators are warmly invited – admission is free!
