From today, 23 April, the bidding battles for the horses at the 35th Holsteiner Spring Auction can begin. The feature will go live on the holsteiner.auction portal at 12 noon. Things are set to get exciting right up until the auction closes on Sunday, 25 April.

The bidding, known as the ‘bid-up’, is particularly heart-stopping for prospective buyers. This intense phase of the auction begins at 3 pm, during which the auction time for each horse is extended by two minutes with every bid placed. Today, the three-year-old unridden horses will also be stabled in Elmshorn and, by arrangement, will be available at any time for viewing and free-running. To give a further impression of the auction candidates, a final presentation will take place on Sunday at 9 am, which will be broadcast live via ClipMyHorse.TV. “The collection has a lot to offer, with horses suited to show jumping and dressage, as well as candidates of great interest for cross-country riding,” says Managing Director and Auction Director Roland Metz. “And even the horses that have not yet been ridden come from families with a strong track record of success and hold promise for a future in sport and breeding.”

All information, including pedigrees, X-rays, photos and video footage, can be viewed at holsteiner.auction. Until the auction begins on 25 April, the ridden horses can be tried out at any time by arrangement, and the three-year-old rough diamonds can be viewed in Elmshorn.
