Spring Auction 2026: The deadline for entries is approaching

You have until 6 February 2026 to enter your well-trained four- to eight-year-old horses, as well as three-year-old raw talents, for pre-selection for the Holsteiner Spring Auction. The auction will take place on Friday 17 April 2026 in Elmshorn in a hybrid format.

Once again, the Fritz-Thiedemann-Halle in Elmshorn will become a hub for international trade – after all, many successful sporting careers have got off to a flying start at the Holsteiner Spring Auction, including that of the 1.60-metre show jumper Callas by Casall (McLain Ward) and the Derby winner Dacara E (Cassandra Orschel). Many up-and-coming young stars have also launched their careers on this platform, including Carbolin by Clarimo-Quinar, who was sold at the 2024 Holsteiner Spring Auction. The grey is now five years old and is stabled with Julia Krajewski, so there is certainly much to look forward to in the coming competition season.

The deadline for pre-selection applications is Friday 6 February 2026. Selection for the auction will take place in mid- to late February, with photo and video sessions scheduled for the first week of March 2026.
