There are numerous success stories that began at a Holsteiner auction: one of them is that of Bennett, a son of Crumble-Con Air.
At the 2020 Holsteiner Summer Event, the grey stallion bred by Bärbel Leffers (Holzdorf) – who at the time went by the auction name Contici – was sold to new owners: Bernhard Porten and Till Wacker secured this representative of the 890 line, whose dam, U-Mette, had already produced several successful offspring competing at heights of up to 1.50 metres in show jumping and at M-level dressage. At the age of five, he was already proving to be a striking and cautious jumper with good reflexes, and under his new owners – who entrusted his training to Nicola Strube – he continued to develop steadily: He is currently winning show jumping classes at A and L level with scores of up to 9.0. “He always has a friendly demeanour, a great character, and plenty of talent and self-confidence,” says his rider.
Reiterjournal recently named the talented grey ‘Youngster of the Week’. Click here to watch the video.
