With the equestrian classes at Springflut festival and Falsterbo Horse Show already in full swing, Holsteiner Verband foal auctions are scheduled for Saturday, 12 July, at both events.
Springflut Festival in Hörup offers a great variety of experiences. In addition to high-calibre show jumping classes, an eventing course has been designed this year. With show jumping classes up to S*** level, qualifications for the National Championship for young eventing horses and a strong line-up for the Youngster Championship, the event also attracts visitors with live music, parties, an entertaining jump & drive and numerous guided tours of the adjacent James Farm. And with the Holsteiner Highlight Sales auction: On Saturday, 14 hand-picked young prospects born in 2025 will be put to auction on the market square in the middle of the spacious exhibition.
Hörup: Presentation at 2:30 pm, auction at 8:00 pm
Among them for example lot 3, United Star by United Way-Casall, from successful mare family 18A2 and lot 14, Knud vom Reminenhof by Keaton-Casall, from Holsteiner mare family 6028. What do these colts have in common, other than their damsire? Well, both sires, United Way by Uriko and Keaton HV by Kannan will demonstrate their athleticism by competing at Springflut festival in the big tour. This shows once again that hardly any studbook combines breeding, sport and marketing as does Holstein. All 14 lots are publicly presented in the show jumping arena on Saturday, 12 July at half past 2 before the hybrid auction held on the market square begins at 8 o’clock.
Falsterbo: Presentation at 2:00 pm, auction at 5:00 pm
Just under 400 kilometres away from the Hörup venue, the second Holsteiner foal auction is held on the same day, at Falsterbo Horse Show. The foals are publicly presented in the big jumping arena on Saturday, 12 July, around 2:00 pm, while the auction takes place directly after the traditional Falsterbo Derby, around 5:00 pm. Domino CM by Diarado-For Pleasure is put to auction as lot 11: He is a half-brother to 1.55m show jumper, Commander Bond by Corrado I, who is making a name for himself with current successes in big-purse jumping competitions, such as Mill Springs and Tryon (USA). Cimano E by AD Unaniem (Robert Smith/GBR) also comes from this family.
