Since the beginning of April, international successful show jumper Arne van Heel has joined the team of the Holsteiner Verband Vermarktungs und Auktions GmbH. Together with his groom Mascha Enderle, he is responsible for currently twelve horses in the marketing stable on the association's premises in Elmshorn.
The Dutchman Arne van Heel grew up on his parents' farm in Rosmalen in the municipality of 's-Hertogenbosch. There, the van Heel family ran a training stable and Arne, just like his two sisters, was in the jumping saddle at an early age, winning silver with the Dutch team at the Pony European Championships in Ireland. At the age of 17, he moved to the Kasselmann stable in Hagen am Teutoburger Wald. Initially, Arne van Heel was responsible for the training and competition presentation of the show jumpers together with Francois Kasselmann. Later, he managed the jumping stable: the training of the youngsters, the training of the auction candidates and international competition participation up to the most advanced class were among his duties. At the beginning of 2021, Arne van Heel then moved to the far north, where he has been self-employed since. During this time, he already supported the team of the Holsteiner Verband Vermarktungs und Auktions GmbH regularly and energetically, which is why Managing Director Felix Flinzer is particularly pleased that Arne van Heel has now shifted his professional focus entirely to Elmshorn: "Arne is an asset to the Holsteiner Verband in Elmshorn and for our breeders," says Flinzer. "He is the ideal choice to manage the trading and marketing stable." Arne van Heel takes care of both riding training and competition presentation as well as the purchase and sale of Holsteiner horses for the marketing stable in close cooperation with Felix Flinzer.
