Holsteiner Verband Vermarktungs und Auktions GmbH is still offering a number of marketing opportunities for your foals this late summer.
You can currently register your offspring for pre-selection for the Holsteiner Elite Foal Auction on 24 August in Elmshorn. The pre-selection dates for this auction in Schleswig-Holstein will take place at the same time as the selection dates for an auction in Warendorf on 6 September. For breeders in the European licensing district, the selection will take place on certain dates as part of the foal registration process – further information on this follows below.
For the first time, a foal auction will be held in the extended breeding area during the National Championships in Warendorf on 6 September 2024. To select the foals, officials from Vermarktungs GmbH and the Breeding Department have planned a joint tour of the European licensing district. At the following venues, all breeders will be offered the opportunity to take part in the pre-auction selection process, which includes professional photo and video recordings, the registration of foals and mares, and qualification for a foal championship:

Note regarding dates in the extended breeding area: Please ensure that the mare and foal are prepared for video recording. Should the selection for the foal auction be unsuccessful, every breeder has the opportunity to purchase the photos and videos at a reasonable price.
The registration deadline for the pre-selection in Schleswig-Holstein is Monday, 1 July 2024!
The registration deadline for the stations in the extended breeding area is three weeks before the respective date!
