The Elite Riding Horse Auction will once again be held this year in conjunction with the young stallion licensing in December in Elmshorn. On Thursday 11 December, the Elite lot will go under the hammer, and you currently have the opportunity to enter your young horse(s) for pre-selection.
Horses aged between three and eight years old that are well-trained and hold a pedigree certificate from the Holsteiner Breeding Association are eligible for entry. The selection of horses will take place in August at various locations across the wider breeding region, as well as at three locations in Schleswig-Holstein. The horses’ suitability for the auction will be assessed under saddle and in free jumping. In addition, the horses will be inspected and measured.
The deadline for registration for the pre-selection is 10 September 2025!
