Now open: Registrations for the Elite Riding Horse Auction on 28 October

At the first Holsteiner riding horse auction of 2023 – the spring auction in March – a fantastic result was achieved, with a top price of 180,000 euros and an average price of around 37,000 euros. On 28 October 2023, the Elite Riding Horse Auction will take place in Elmshorn, forming a fitting backdrop to the Holsteiner Autumn Event, which includes the saddle licensing and sport trials for stallions. You can now register your horses for pre-selection.

The Elite Riding Horse Auction has already produced numerous top-class sport horses and offers you, as a breeder or owner of a young, talented Holsteiner, the opportunity to present your gem to a vast international audience. This is where, for example, the careers of the double European eventing champion, JL Dublin by Diarado, and Laura Klaphake’s 1.60-metre show jumper Camalita by Cracker Jack began.

Holsteiners aged between three and eight years, whose owners are members of the association, may be presented for pre-selection for the auction. The selection of well-ridden, high-quality horses will take place at several events in August across the wider breeding region and at three events in Schleswig-Holstein. The suitability of the horses for the auction will be assessed under saddle and in free jumping.
