As the year comes to a close, there is one real highlight left on the Holsteiner Verband calendar. As part of the grading of the young stallions, about 25 highly talented jumping horses will be auctioned on 11 December. The selection is now online.
“Whether to be produced further or to be shown right away – we have horses to suit any need“, executive director Felix Flinzer says about the selected horses. A great recommendation would be for example lot 102, Chuck by Cahil-Claudio. The four-year-old gelding comes from world-famous mare family 730b, which has been bred by the Ritters family in Krumstedt for generations now and has produced international sport horses, such as Caracho by Cassiliano (Steve Guerdat/SUI), Cefalo by Caretino (Holger Wulschner/GER), and Marius (Hinrich Romeike/GER) same as Zamperoni (by Zuccero HV), a stallion licensed last year and stationed at Moritzburg state stud. Lot 122, Pia BB by Keaton-Casall has a licensed brother, as well. Her full brother Kantato has been awarded premium status at the 2023 Holsteiner grading and comes from successful mare family 104A. “These two are really exceptional“, Flinzer continues. In addition, the auction manager’s special recommendation for high-level sport would be lot 124, Tilly, a five-year-old Tobago-Cornet Obolensky daughter.
On Monday, November 24, 2025, interested parties will have the opportunity to view the horses at the first public presentation at 6 p.m. Either live at the Fritz-Thiedemann-Halle in Elmshorn or via livestream at ClipMyHorse.tv.
