The Holsteiner Spring Auction came to a close this Saturday evening. Catalogue number 114, Mr. Cheeky by Million Dollar-Diarado, line 703, bred by Michael Rump (Beidenfleth), attracted the most interest. The dark bay gelding was presented by Yannick Lembke (Süderlügum). Online bidders secured the six-year-old, who already has a track record of success in show jumping up to 1.10 metres, for 44,250 euros.
Catalogue number 101, the five-year-old Ancelotti by All Star-Calido I, line 890, from the Hollen stud in Oyten, changed hands for 38,000 euros. Ancelotti, who has also already achieved his first placings, is set to embark on his journey to the USA. And catalogue number 16, Ziro by Zuccero HV-Dinken, line 569, bred and owned by Sören von Rönne from Neuendeich, went for 37,500 euros. The three-year-old grey stallion will be based in Hungary in future. The horses cost an average of around 25,000 euros.
