As previously reported, the 35th Holsteiner Spring Auction has had to be postponed due to an outbreak of equine herpesvirus (EHV-1) in Valencia, Spain. The German Equestrian Federation (FN) has cancelled all breeding and equestrian events until the end of March.
The management of Holsteiner Verband Vermarktungs GmbH reacted immediately and postponed both the auction and all associated events. The horses are now scheduled to arrive on 9 April 2021; the first presentation is due to take place on 12 April at 6.00 pm and will be broadcast live on ClipMyHorse.TV. Afterwards, the ridden horses can, of course, be tried out until the day of the auction. On the day of the auction itself, 25 April, there will be another presentation at 9.00 am, before the auction of the 46 candidates begins at 3.00 pm. All the horses, the relevant information and the videos will be available from 20 March at www.holsteiner.auction.
If you have any questions regarding the auction or the lots, Managing Director Roland Metz and his team will be happy to assist you.
