Second field trial for mares – spectators are very welcome on 24 June
On Wednesday, 24 June, this year’s second field test for mares will take place at the association’s grounds in Elmshorn. The mare performance test begins at 09:00 and spectators are warmly invited; admission is free.
About field tests
The one-day field test is organised by the Holsteiner Verband in cooperation with the Schleswig-Holstein/Hamburg Horse Stud Book. It begins with the assessment of free jumping by two judges. The mare is then presented to the jury once more, ridden by her own rider in a group of up to four horses, for an assessment of her basic manoeuvres and rideability. This is followed by the test with an outside rider to assess her rideability.
