Following last week’s German Championships for young dressage riders in Verden, the best young talents in show jumping have now also been crowned.
In the junior age group, Limbarto by Limbus-Calato (August Bartjen, Bad Zwischenahn), line 8677, and Lisa-Maria Funke (Weser-Ems) won the silver medal. In the first qualifying class, the pair finished 13th, improved to third place in the second class and won the third and final competition at S** level, which featured two rounds – securing second place in the final standings.
The young riders’ championships were decided over just two rather than three classes, as the final class was cancelled due to the weather. Canturia by Canturo-Askari (Hans-Peter Rau, Calw), line 2067, and Lea Sophia Gut (Baden-Württemberg) secured bronze.
