Four international victories in eventing

At the European Championships in Avenches, the Holsteiner cross-country horses won gold, silver and bronze medals. They were also victorious in the UK, the USA and Ireland.

In Unionville (USA), there was a Holsteiner one-two in the CCI4* S: Quasi Cool by Quo Vados I-Lord (Witt Pferdezucht GmbH, Wellinghusen) won under Phillip Dutton (USA), ahead of Errol Gobey by Cassini II-Contender (Ralf Lütje, Haseldorf) ridden by Bruce Davidson Jr. (USA). In the three-star class, Urania by Uriko-Contender (Tönnis Marquardt, Fehmarn), ridden by Booli Selmayr (USA), finished eighth.
Maitänzer by Water Dance xx-Cristo (Hans-Otto Werner, Walzbachtal) was also victorious in the USA. Ridden by Tamra Smith, the eight-year-old won the CCI3* S at Paso Doble.
Cascor by Catoo-Stauffenberg (Carsten Schulz, Nusse) finished sixth in the CCI3* S at Aiken (USA) under Cecilia Lundberg (USA). In the CCI4*S, Lady Chatterley by Connor-Mytens xx (Nina Tassemeier, Itzehoe) finished fifth under Leslie Law (GB).
There was another Holsteiner victory in a CCI4* L event, with Bahira M by Cassaro-Carpaccio (Karl-Jochen Maas, Südermarsch) at Ballidenisk
in Ireland. In Varsseveld (Netherlands), Canadian Club M by Canabis Z-Caretino (Franz Gerhard Mühlenbeck, Oeversee), ridden by Merel Blom (Netherlands), finished eighth in the CCI3* S.
There was also a Holstein victory in the CCI3* at Osberton (Great Britain): Scuderia 1918 Humphreys by Humphrey-Contender (photo: Hobe Bernhard, Kollmar) triumphed under Kevin McNab (Australia).
At Little Downham (UK), Cola by Catoki-Contender (Peter Böge, Schönhorst), ridden by Isabelle Upton, finished fifth in the CCI4* S.
