The final trials for the European Eventing Championships (Juniors and Senior Riders), to be held in Segersjö, Sweden, took place in Bad Harzburg.
In the Juniors’ category, which was assessed in a CCI2* S event, the following Holstein horses were nominated: Zilia D by Corland-Mytens xx (Friedrich Dehn, Schwesing), who finished seventh under Nane Nikoloaus Dehn; Eh Clara by Clarimo-Zünftiger xx (Gunhild Clausen, Langwedel)/Hanna Jensen, and Kaya Thomsen, who won the class with Da bin ich C by Diarado-Esteban xx (Ursula Chojnacki, Stolpe) and came came fourth.
National coach Frank Ostholt assessed the young riders at three-star level. Among others, he nominated Darcy F by Larimar-Esteban xx (archive photo; Ferdinand Baumann, Kempen), who took third place under Libussa Lübekke. Casino by Casillas-Claudio (Behrend Jacobs, Ostenfeld) came sixth in the class under Dirk Schrade.
In Facimiech (Poland), Cantolato by Canto-Lucio Silla xx (Bruno Königsmann, Tüttendorf) finished ninth in the CCI3* S under the Italian rider Mattia Luciano.
