In Hartpury (UK), JL Dublin won the CCI4* S. Ridden by Nicola Wilson – who had originally discovered the Diarado-Canturo son, bred by Volker Goettsche-Götze Groß Buchwald, at the Elite Auction in Neumünster – the now ten-year-old triumphed over numerous contenders for this year’s European Championships in Avenches (Switzerland). In the CCI3* L, Invictus by Connor-Candillo (Ernst Horns, Bredenbekshorst), ridden by Alyssa Yalllop (GBR), finished seventh.
In Bromont (Canada), the venue for the 1976 Olympic Games, Mr Candyman by Canto-Corofino I (H. W. Freiherr von Meerheimb, Gr. Rolübbe) took third place in the CCI3* S under Alexandra Baugh (USA).
Cascor by Catoo-Stauffenberg (Carsten Schulz) and Cecilia Lundberg (USA) came second in the CCI3* S in New Market (USA).
