In accordance with its statutes, the duties of the Verband der Züchter des Holsteiner Pferdes e.V. include not only providing general advice to members on breeding and keeping Holsteiner horses (A. Section 2.8), but also assisting in promoting and ensuring compliance with animal welfare provisions pursuant to the Animal Welfare Act (A. Section 2.14).
The Holsteiner Verband supports the Grönwohldhof and its affiliated external operations to the best of its ability. Compliance with animal welfare and the guidelines for keeping horses is the Verband's highest priority.
