A PhD thesis is being carried out at the Nürtingen-Geislingen University of Applied Sciences for Business and the Environment, which involves conducting a survey of horse breeders using a questionnaire on the topic of ‘Digitalisation in horse husbandry’.
The PhD student, Ms Linda Speidel, has asked us to support the questionnaire campaign.
Digitalisation has become an integral part of our everyday lives, but how is it currently being implemented on horse-keeping farms, and what might the future hold? To answer these and other questions, the following survey has been launched. Anyone actively involved in a horse-keeping business can take part – whether as a manager, a boarder or a riding partner.
The study is being carried out as part of the DiWenkLa project (Digital Value Chains for Sustainable Small-Scale Agriculture) – a joint research project between the University of Hohenheim and HfWU Nürtingen, along with other partners, which is funded by the BMEL and supported by the MLR.
