Survey on the importance of modern breeding methods in mate selection
The health status of broodmares and stallions, embryo transfer, genomic selection – breeding methods of the future or a one-way street towards genetic reduction?
As part of a Bachelor’s thesis, a survey has been designed to assess the importance of modern breeding methods in mating decisions within horse breeding.
In order to gain as accurate a picture of opinions as possible, we need the help of passionate breeders.
