A team of students from Kiel University of Applied Sciences is currently researching the topic of horse husbandry. To carry out a specialist study, they require a representative picture of public opinion regarding the activity of mucking out.
The term ‘mucking out’ primarily refers to the collection of horse manure. This is often carried out using a so-called ‘manure scoop’ in conjunction with a small rake. A wheelbarrow is also used to transport the horse droppings away.
