Suddenly and completely unexpectedly, Hans-Peter Petersen passed away yesterday at the age of 72. In "Peti Gold", as the businessman and horse breeder was called by many, the Holsteiner Verband loses a breeder from its own ranks.
Hans-Peter Petersen has bred over 450 horses on his farm in Tating, North Frisia, since the 1970s. Among them are licensed stallions, top mares and numerous auction horses. The most famous is perhaps the stallion Lord Liberty, who produced a large number of successful sport horses despite a short active breeding period. Currently, it is certainly the licensed stallion Duplexx by Diarado-Heraldik xx that is associated with the name of the deceased.
