On day two of this year’s Bundeschampionat, Holsteiners once again secured numerous placings.

Show jumpers
In the first division of the six-year-old show jumpers – who are already competing against the clock – second place went to Munin, a son of Mylord Carthago out of Chin Chin (Michael Eitel, Freihung-Thannsüss), ridden by Sophie Hinners. Cashtender by Casall out of Contender (Lvp-Stables, Ghent), line 6879, took third place with Frederic Tillmann in the saddle. In the second division, the association’s stallion Crack by Cornet Obolensky–Candillo (Campos Cria de Caballos de Deporte), line 1020, and Richard Vogel delivered the best result from a Holsteiner perspective. With a flawless round, they took third place. Catalina by Cachas-Lasino (Norbert Carl Schmalbach, Steinburg), line 18B1, and Sophie Hinners came fifth.

Tenth place: Camillus by Christian-Calato (Verena Ewald, Owschlag), line 162, and Max-Hilmar Borchert

Second division:
9th place: Clariquada T by Clarimo-Coronado (Manfred Tummes, Mühlheim), line 4539, and Hendrik Dowe
Twelfth place: Call me Future by Cornet Obolensky-Casall (Frank Plock, Borken), line 7299, and Stephanie Böhe (former Holsteiner auction horse)

Cross-country
horses In the cross-country test for five-year-olds, three promising prospects with Holsteiner bloodlines took the lead in the first division. First place went to the former Holsteiner Elite auction horse Lillet by Livello-Calido I (Morena Petersen, Ahrenviöl), line 776, and Andreas Dibowski. The pair received the dream score of 9.2. Second place was secured by Chuppy Pepper by Casaltino-Cormint (Heiko Marckmann, Haseldorf), line 242, and Daniela Czech-Ruff, with a score of 8.8. Duplexx by Diarado-Heraldik xx (Hans Peter Petersen, Tating), line 3317, and Jan Matthias received an 8.6 for their performance and came third. Juna R by Colman-Caretino (Peter Rehder, Krumstedt), line 4965, galloped to an 8.1 with Antonia Baumgart in the saddle, finishing seventh.

In addition, Artus S by Amber-Caletto I (Rudi Stage, Moorrege), line 7649, came third in the second division under Lotte Palmgren. The bay had already secured the title of Schleswig-Holstein State Cross-Country Champion this season and was now awarded an 8.6 by the judges in Warendorf. With a score of 8.0, Dallegria by Diarado-Alcatraz (Claus-Heinrich Petersen, Ahrenviöl), line 6786, ridden by Anna Siemer, and Danger by Dinken-Caretino (Harald Andresen, Behrendorf), line 4779, presented by Sven Lux, shared eighth place with a score of 8.0.

In the competition for six-year-olds, Louise Romeike celebrated a Holsteiner double success: Clearsky by Clearway-Corrado I (Cristina Trauffer, Brienz), line 4, took third place with a score of 8.8. Rockett by Rock Forever-Mighty Magic (Burkhard Schwarz, Nahe), line 2599, came fifth with a score of 8.5. The dark bay was once owned by Holsteiner Verband Vermarktungs und Auktions GmbH and, following his sale, has already secured, amongst other things, the title of Schleswig-Holstein State Champion for cross-country horses with Louise Romeike’s husband Claas. With IcyTonic, the newly crowned Olympic champion Julia Krajewski has a promising young prospect in her stable. The son of Ibisco xx-Cristo (Udo Wagner, Angermünde), line 242, also finished fifth with a score of 8.5.
