On Friday, the second qualifying round for five-year-old show jumpers was on the programme. A Holsteiner secured victory in the second division. Mr. Million by Million Dollar-Cash and Carry (Jörg Carstensen), ridden by Teike Carstensen, received a score of 8.9 and thus the gold ribbon. Second place went to Momo VA by Diamant de Semilly-Clarimo (Manfred von Allwörden) and Diarmuid Howley.

Warendorf Grand Prix
In the late afternoon, the so-called ‘veterans’ – that is, eight-year-old and older horses that had previously competed at the National Championships – took to the arena. In the S** show jumping class with a jump-off, second, third and fourth places went to Holstein. The silver ribbon was won by Cooper VA by Clarimo out of Alcatraz (Manfred von Allwörden) and Diarmuid Howley. Howley also rode Diamant de Operette VA by Diamant de Semilly–Contender (Manfred von Allwörden) to third place. Fourth place went to Carlton SR by Cascadello I–Contender (Stefan Ratajczak) and Pheline Ahlmann.
Eventing
The small finals for the five- and six-year-old bush horses also took place on the cross-country course. Among the five-year-olds, Malva P
by Denver-Locato (Helge Jürgensen), ridden by Malin Petersen, took third place (8.0).
