With effect from 1 January 2025, the Holsteiner Horse Breeders’ Association (Verband der Züchter des Holsteiner Pferdes e.V.) is seeking a Young Breeders’ Representative (m/f/d) on a part-time basis.
The Holsteiner Association, with its approximately 5,000 members, is represented across the globe. The Holsteiner brand stands for highly successful horses in breeding and sport, particularly in show jumping and eventing. Young and new breeders are organised into ten young breeders’ clubs across Holstein, which offer their members educational and social events. The Holsteiner Young Breeders’ Association has set itself the aim of equipping its members with the necessary skills to breed successfully, either now or in the future.
To fill the role of Young Breeders’ Representative, we are looking for a communicative, team-oriented and sociable individual with in-depth knowledge of (Holsteiner) horses.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Co-ordinating and developing work with young and new breeders
- Selecting and preparing young breeders for national competitions
- Supporting the involvement of young breeders at Holsteiner Verband events

- You will act as the direct point of contact and liaison between young and new breeders and the other staff at the Holsteiner Verband
