The Verband der Züchter des Holsteiner Pferdes e.V. is seeking a MANAGING DIRECTOR m/f for the association's own stallion holding GmbH, at the latest by summer 2021.

Key responsibilities:

• Management of the stallion stable in Elmshorn
• Discovering, purchasing, promoting and managing the training of exceptional sires for the association's own stud
  with the typical Holsteiner strengths (movement, superior type, high knee action, jumping ability, temperament)
• Personnel responsibility
• Making the best possible genetics accessible to the members of the Holsteiner Verband

Candidate profile:

• Very good knowledge of European, and specifically Holsteiner, show jumper breeding and international show jumping
• Very good expertise in managing a competition stable
• Enthusiasm and dedication to Holsteiner horse breeding
• Ability to work in a structured, independent and conceptual manner
• Ability to work in a team
• Good to very good command of English
• Good computer skills in MS Office
• Comprehensive commercial knowledge
