Winners announced: Qualifiers for the regional championships

As part of the Holsteiner Horse Days, the qualifying competitions for the State Championships for four- to seven-year-old show jumpers took place, with worthy winners emerging.

In the four-year-old show jumpers’ class, Clyde – a son of Castle Creek out of Quo Vados – took top honours in the first division with Alexandra Witt 🥰 He was bred by Witt Pferdezucht GbR. The winner of the second division is also a ‘family project’: Tomte by Toulon-Carthago was presented by Rasmus Lüneburg; his parents, Jan and Karin, are responsible for breeding this dark bay.

In the qualifier for the Holstein State Championships for five-year-old show jumpers, the association-owned stallion Charaktervoll by Comme il faut–Contendro I (Manfred von Allwörden, Grönwohld), line 474A, received the highest mark in the class. Presented by Massimo Bonomi, the dark bay was awarded an 8.7 and won the first section. First place in the second division was secured by Bailey by Barcley-Quebec (Lutz Dechau, Nutteln), line 7728, with a score of 8.6. Mascha Krause was in the saddle on the gelding.

A State Premium mare and a licensed stallion took the top spots in the prize-giving ceremony for the six-year-old show jumpers – a qualifier for the State Championships. Itschuli by Cascadello I-Coronado (ZG Oldekop, Schönwalde), line 2543, and Mascha Krause won Division One with a score of 9.0. Diamant de Operette VA by Diamant de Semilly-Contender (Manfred von Allwörden, Grönwohld), line 776, took first place in the second division with a score of 8.8. The stallion was ridden by Diarmuid Howley.

In the seven-year-olds’ class, it was Constanzehof’s Hope by Casall out of Carthago (Isabel Jahr, Hodorf), line 504, and Michael Ziems who took home the gold ribbon.
