Last year saw the premiere of the Holsteiner Autumn Event in Elmshorn: the Elite Riding Horse Auction, the saddle licensing, the short aptitude test and the show jumping competition for stallions were all held together in the Fritz-Thiedemann-Halle.
The event met with such a consistently positive response that not only was a repeat this year requested by all parties – in particular, the demand for the stallion performance tests was so enormous that a waiting list had to be drawn up and, ultimately, the permitted number of participants was even increased by the German Equestrian Federation (FN). “We are delighted that, following last year’s inaugural event, so many stallion owners and trainers wish to come to Elmshorn in 2023,” says breeding director Stephan Haarhoff.
