Quel Homme de Hus by Quidam de Revel-Candillo (Dr Andreas Kosicki, Berlin), line 4847, and the Belgian rider Jérôme Guéry celebrated a spectacular end to the outdoor season at the Autumn Tour in Grimaud, France. Having already completed several clear rounds had already completed several clear rounds in Grimaud, France, following a short summer break, they set their sights on victory in the 1.50-metre show jumping class with a jump-off on the final weekend of the event – and were successful. “I’m just lucky in St Tropez this time,” was the highly satisfied conclusion of Guéry, who also finished the competition victoriously with several of his other horses.
In this class, Eic Caleo by Cachas-Quantum (Reiner Schulz, Havekost), line 1223, and Max Kühner (AUT) also took fourth place, whilst Chesall Zimequest by Casall-Concerto II (Günter Schüder, Bahrenfleth), line 1120, and Simon Delestre (FRA) in tenth place. In Sunday’s Grand Prix, the highly successful pair also took bronze following a fast jump-off.
Andres Vereecke (BEL) and Castellane by Casall-Contender (Reimer Detlef Hennings, Bendorf), line 3858, have won a 1.40-metre show jumping class in Belgium (Opglabbeek). The association-owned stallion Zuccero by Zirocco Blue-Caretino (Hanno Köhncke, Badendorf), line 4539, and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson (SWE) came third in this competition and had already taken third place the previous day in a 1.40-metre two-phase show jumping competition.
In Luhmühlen/Westergellersen, the Montagsclub once again organised numerous classes up to S-level, in which Holsteiner horses showed themselves at their very best. For example, GK Charmeur by Clarimo-Quantum (Manfred Kummetz, Lübeck), line 4510, and Annina Nordström (FIN) emerged as winners of an S* show jumping class. The licensed Forino by For Pleasure-Caretino (Manfred von Allwörden, Grönwohld), line 776, and Sofie Svensson (SWE) won an L-class show jumping class by a clear margin with a score of 9.5. Catdaddy by Cascadello I-Quidam de Revel (Gerd Ohlsen, Oevenum), line 95, shone with Jennifer Fogh Pedersen in the saddle and won the M-class show jumping class with a score of 9.2.
