Reminder: Registrations for the mare inspections must be submitted by 1 May

Following the centralisation of mare registrations by the Holsteiner Verband, which was introduced last year, mares can once again be entered for appointments at four locations in Schleswig-Holstein in 2026. In addition, registrations outside the core breeding area will take place as usual at further dates at additional venues.

Participation in the Association’s Mare Show for mares from the extended breeding area:
Three- and four-year-old mares seeking to qualify for the Association’s Mare Show with State Premium must be presented on 26 May 2026 in Elmshorn during the session for non-resident members. Please also indicate this on the registration form.

The deadline for registering mares in Schleswig-Holstein is 1 May 2026
