At the AGRAVIS Cup in Oldenburg, Quinn by Quidam de Revel-Contender (Jürgen Hattebuhr, Burgwedel), line 4220, won the Grand Prix at S** level under his new rider, Zascha Nygaard Andreasen. This was one of their first competitive appearances together; they had already claimed victory in a two-star Grand Prix in Aarhus, Denmark, during their competitive debut just a few weeks ago. The Danish rider is part of Andreas Kreuzer’s team of riders; Kreuzer has also enjoyed a number of international successes with the Quidam de Revel son.
Fourth place in a 1.60-metre show jumping class with prize money totalling over 200,000 euros went to David Blake (IRL) and Keoki by Catoki-Cassini I (Klaus Kudlinski, Bruges), line 6378, in Lexington, Kentucky (USA). In 2020, the bay was among the six highest-scoring horses counted towards the Holsteiner Verband’s WBFSH ranking and, together with his rider, won over 21,000 US dollars in this show jumping competition.
In a 1.55-metre show jumping competition in Opglabbeek, Belgium, two horses with Holsteiner bloodlines ranked among the top ten: Oak Grove’s Carlyle by Casall-Corrado I (Sofino S.C., Belgium), line 1986, and Jeroen Dubbeldam (NED) took the bronze medal.
