As part of the mare registration process, a registration event will be held for the first time outside Schleswig-Holstein on 15 May, where three- and four-year-old mares from the European Breeding District can qualify for the Association Mare Show on 11 June.
Of course, older mares may also be presented at this event. This initiative was launched by the Executive Board of the European Breeding District to make it easier for breeders living far from Holstein to qualify their mares for participation in the Association’s Mare Show. In addition, on this occasion, the Holsteiner Verband is offering its breeders in the extended breeding area the opportunity to enter their three- to five-year-old mares for a field test.
Mare registration and the mare performance test will take place on: 15 May in 73479 Ellwangen, Hornbergstraße 89, at Klaus-Philipp Eichert’s premises. Provided there are at least 15 entries, the event – comprising mare registration and the field test – will go ahead.
