Free seminar: Newborn foals – initial care and illnesses

The Futterkamp Teaching and Research Centre is hosting a seminar on 18 January on the topic of ‘Newborn Foals: Initial Care and Diseases’. 

This seminar provides practical knowledge on the initial care of foals immediately after birth. The focus is on the basic measures required to ensure a healthy start to life. In addition, common diseases affecting newborn foals will be discussed, including their early detection and treatment. Gesche Nohl and Dr Nadja Sönnichsen (veterinarians at the Bargteheide Equine Clinic) will offer valuable advice and recommend preventive measures to ensure the long-term health of foals during their first weeks of life.

This seminar is aimed at professionals in the equine industry as well as breeders and members of horse breeding associations.

Venue: LVZ Futterkamp, Gutshof 24327 Blekendorf, 3.00 pm to 5.30 pm
