In light of the latest developments regarding the coronavirus situation, the state government of Schleswig-Holstein has today announced stricter regulations, which have caused uncertainty amongst some interested parties, exhibitors and others involved in the 50th Holsteiner Licensing and Elite Auction.
As things stand, these new regulations are due to come into force at the weekend, which is why the event is initially set to begin as planned on Thursday with the stallion inspection on solid ground. Admission to the inspection on solid ground is free, and face coverings are compulsory throughout the venue. Tickets booked for Friday and Saturday remain valid. Should new state regulations mean that the event cannot continue on Saturday, the organisers will endeavour to condense the programme so that the licensing and Elite Auction can be completed on Friday.
