The welfare of the horses is the top priority, and stable design now offers a wide variety of different housing options. The Dithmarschen Breeding District cordially invites breeders, horse lovers and anyone interested to a special event: a relaxed brunch with an engaging specialist talk on the topic of ‘Future-oriented horse husbandry’
on 23 February 2025 at the Kanal 33 restaurant (Address: Hohenhörner Straße 33, 25725 Schafstedt), followed by a tour of the premises.
The event begins at 10.30 am with a brunch buffet. This will be followed by an interesting specialist presentation, delivered by the renowned company HIT. Come and find out about the latest trends and innovative solutions in horse husbandry, and be inspired. Discover which technical solutions can help address staff shortages and ensure horses get as much exercise as possible. Following the presentation, there will be opportunities for discussion and questions. But that’s not all: Those interested will then have the chance to view a best-practice example of modern horse husbandry. To this end, Anja and Jan Bielenberg’s HIT active stable in Horst near Elmshorn – established in 2024 – will open its doors for a guided tour. Find out more about the concept – including the background, details of the planning and construction phases, and the pros and cons.
Registrations can be sent to Silke Zuba until 12 February, either by email to gzuba@t-online.de or by telephone on 0152-08579191. Places are limited; the cost is €28.90 per person (including brunch).
