Christoph Obernauer (AUT) is riding Kleon’s Renegade by Quintero-Stakkato (Katrin Kleon, Längenfeld/AUT), line 8768. In St. Margarethen (AUT), the pair won a 1.45-metre class. Holly del Rilate by Verdi-Cassini I (Rilate Allevamento/ITA), line 18B1, took second place with Luca Coata. And Captain Conner, a son of Connor-Acobat II bred by Anette Köhlbrandt (Fehmarn), line 162, came fifth with Matteo Zamana.
In Ottawa, Canada, Conor Swail was once again successful with his Casturano at the weekend: the son of Castelan I-Canturo (Reimer Detlef Hennings, Bendorf), line 318D1, came fourth in a 1.50-metre class. In addition, another Holsteiner mare took fifth place: Cassinia by Casalito-Cento (ZG Sachau, Bohmstedt), line 1228, was ridden by Delaney Flynn (USA). The black-bay mare was sold as a foal at a Holsteiner auction and subsequently entered international competition under both US and Irish colours.
Keaton HV by Kannan-Contendro I (Rudolf Schmitt, Wöhrden), line 4847, and Arne van Heel took an excellent fifth place in the Bonheiden Grand Prix. The pair completed the 1.45-metre class with jump-off with two clear rounds.
Dressage
In New York, Devanto by De Chirico-Lorentin I (Holger Wesselmann, Kellinghusen), line 49, won a Grand Prix freestyle. He is now ridden by Tracy Kelly, an American who took him over from Tinne Vilhelmson Silfvén (SWE).
