Approval, stallion presentation and auction go hand in hand at the Holsteiner Stallion Days. On 28 and 29 March 2025, this high-calibre event will once again take place at the association’s grounds in Elmshorn. You have until Monday 24 February to enter your stallions for the licensing on 28 March.
The presentation under saddle is compulsory for four-year-old and older stallions. Registered three-year-old stallions will not be presented under saddle. The licensing will kick off the event on Friday 28 March, starting at midday with the presentation of the horses for the spring auction. On Saturday, following a chat in the stable lanes, the sires will be showcased as part of the joint stallion presentation featuring both privately owned and association-owned stallions. In the evening, it will be time for the spring auction and the after-show party.
Entries for the licensing are being accepted by the Holsteiner Breeders’ Association (Verband der Züchter des Holsteiner Pferdes e.V.), Steenbeker Weg 151, 24106 Kiel, until 24 February 2025.
