Coming from the eventing camp is the current Holsteiner YoungStar. Via the Holsteiner Verband spring auction, ChrisTonic by Crack-Dinken (breeder Manfred Johannsen, Tornesch) found its way to Olympic champion Julia Krajewski's stable just under two years ago.
Together with her good friend Christoph Vollmer, Julia Krajewski discovered the then three-year-old from stem 569 in March 2024 - and successfully placed the winning bid at the auction. The grey was christened ChrisTonic and spent the summer on pasture in Germany. Last winter, Julia Krajewski's partner Pietro Roman took him to Italy, trained him, and presented ChrisTonic in a few, selected young horse classes at the end of the summer season. To conclude, the pair won the four-year-old final in Pratoni del Vivaro (ITA). In this young horse championship, ChrisTonic maintained his dressage score of 21.3 points and took the lead of the 22-strong field. "Our four-year-olds normally only go to a handful of small shows so they get to know some basics and we can assess where their strengths and perhaps also weaknesses lie. ChrisTonic handled all of this so naturally and straightforwardly that we are already looking forward to the next season with him," praises Julia Krajewski regarding her youngster.
And the plan for the year 2026 is already in place: ChrisTonic will likely come along to Germany over the summer, with the aim of competing at the Bundeschampionat at the end of the season.
