The Holsteiner Verband now also has a channel on WhatsApp. This new feature allows subscribers to receive news updates directly via the popular messaging service.
How do WhatsApp channels work?
Receive information and relevant updates directly on WhatsApp by subscribing to the ‘Holsteiner Verband’ channel.
Go to the Holsteiner Verband channel
When you subscribe to a WhatsApp channel, you’ll receive updates, for example in the form of text messages or links to information. Updates are displayed in a separate tab within the app, separate from personal chats and calls. You can find channels in the ‘News’ tab (formerly the ‘Status’ tab) at the bottom left of the app.
Receive channel updates directly:
When you subscribe to a channel, notifications are muted by default. To receive alerts about new updates, you can enable notifications for the relevant channel. When notifications are enabled, they work in the same way as for your personal WhatsApp messages.
You can do the following to manage notifications:
Open the channel and click on the notification bell. A crossed-out bell means that notifications are turned off. Click on the bell to turn notifications on.
