Despite numerous competition cancellations due to the global situation regarding the herpes virus, a few events still took place under special conditions in sealed-off centres.

In Wellington (USA), Quilimbo (Ludger Budde, Ölde), a son of Quidam de Revel and Limbus, line 275, won a 1.40-metre show jumping class with Riley Schuyler (USA). Also placing in this class were Parrandero by Clarimo-Cassini I (Mart Vossen, Netherlands), line 4220, ridden by Enrique González (MEX), who finished fourth, and H&M Chilli Willi by Casall-Lord (ZG Diedrichsen, Borgsum), line 318D2, ridden by Nicola Philippaerts (BEL), in ninth place. In a 1.60-metre class, the Casall-Lordanos son Carlito’s Way (Johannes Petersen, Bredenbek), line 4847, triumphed once again, as he has done on several occasions in recent weeks. Riding under Rodrigo Pessoa (BRA), he finished sixth and added around 18,000 US dollars to his career prize money.

At the CSI2* in Dubai, Carallo by Corrado I-Con Air (Jürgen Reimers, York) finished as the winner of the 1.45-metre show jumping class. Ridden by his Danish rider Tina Lund, this representative of Line 4847 thus won just under 10,000 euros in prize money.
