At the EEF Longines Series Nations Cup in Budapest, two horses were selected to represent Germany in Hungary – and they played their part in securing victory. One of them is Kommandant by Comme il faut out of Diarado (Georg Poitzmann, Wetter), line 776. Maximilian Lill and the nine-year-old Holsteiner delivered a superb performance, completing a ‘double clear’. Jeffrey by Comme il faut–Cachas (Philipp Freier, Landau), line 318D2, and Britt Roth also contributed to the German triumph with a clear round.
Eventing
A CCI4*-S competition was held in Adamstown, USA. Here, two Holsteiners finished among the top four. Ridden by Ema Klugman (AUS), the former Holsteiner auction horse Chiraz by Cayado-Casall (Jens Ritters, Krumstedt), line 730B, galloped to silver. Fourth place went to Cashflow GS by Cyrkon xx-Cassini II (Ulrike Schwarz-Nissen, Süderbrarup), line 185, with Holly Payne Caravella (USA) in the saddle.
