Holsteiner Results: Top achievements in the USA

At the Longines Hampton Classics in the USA, Bull Run’s Jireh Uriko-Colman (Timm Peters, Bargenstedt), lot 890, once again proved to be a sure-fire winner for his rider Kristen Vanderveen (USA). Third place in the 1.60-metre Grand Prix and an additional US$60,000 added to her career earnings – that sums up what was undoubtedly an emotional Sunday for the pair. Another Holsteiner, Cassina by Cassini I-Caretino (Carsten Harms, Rastede), line 1752, took fifth place. She was ridden by Spencer Smith from the USA.

At this show, a son of Barcley won the 1.50-metre show jumping class: Barclino B has a Lasino dam and was bred by Hans Brinkop from Neumünster, representing line 4564. In the same competition, Rene Dittmer also rode his horse Cody to fourth place. The son of Casall out of a Quidam de Revel dam was born at Sören von Rönne’s stud in Neuendeich and represents line 8900.

There was another Holsteiner victory in Bridgehampton thanks to Cashew CR. He is by Cassini II out of Quinar and was bred by Georg Clausen (Rabenkirchen), line 4539. Riden by Alex Matz, he secured the winner’s ribbon in a 1.45-metre competition.

Hans Jörgen Juhl is the breeder of Quisandro by Quintero-Gaspari I, line 1094. His rider is Abdullah Alsharbatly (QAT) and together the pair secured victory over 1.45 metres in Gijón, Spain.
