Last weekend, the semi-final of the Longines EEF Nations Cup took place in Samorin (SVK). The winning Swiss team included Chicharito by Casalito-Quo Vados I (Karl-Heinz Knudsen, Pellworm), Stamm 741, ridden by Adrian Schmid. After a clear round in the first round, the pair did not need to compete in the second round, as the Swiss had already secured victory. The Italians finished third in this Nations Cup. The team also included the Holsteiner Scuderia 1918 Calle Deluxe by Cesano II-Con Air (Karl-Ernst Kruse-Sönke, Kollmar), line 18B1, ridden by Giulia Martinengo Marque. Keaton HV by Kannan-Contendro I (Rudolf Schmitt, Wesselburen, line 4847) and Arne van Heel (NED) also took third place in the 1.55-metre Grand Prix.
Richard Vogel and the eight-year-old Baxxter by Breitling LS-Acorado (ZG Tischer, Lauda), line 1298, returned home from the traditional show in Falsterbo (SWE) with a second and a third place over 1.45 metres.
In Valkenswaard (NED), there was also a reunion with Dark Chocolate by Casall-Acodetto I (ZG Oldekop/Hulshof), line 3389, and Anastasia Nielsen (MON). The dark bay won a 1.45-metre show jumping class and also placed in a 1.50-metre show jumping class.
